Apple continues its acquisitions as reported by Bloomberg, as the company focuses a bit more on education.
According to the report, Apple has confirmed that it has acquired a company called LearnSprout, which creates software for schools and teachers to track students’ performance. This is an acquisition that goes hand-in-hand with Apple’s current plans, without a doubt, as the company has an even bigger focus on education in iOS 9.3 and its iPad lineup.
And, as usual, Apple has provided its usual statement regarding the acquisition:
“Apple buys smaller technology companies from time to time, and we generally do not discuss our purpose or plans.”
LearnSprout’s CEO didn’t comment on the original report, however, it seems like a done deal at this point.
