This week for our list we’re checking out 5 brand new free iPhone games that are a real treat. It’s not very often that these many awesome games come out around the same time. Whether you’re looking for something that’s easy to pick and put down to kill a few minutes or you’re looking for a long in depth adventure this list has it all. Let’s take a look.
I’ve spent way too many hours “testing” these games. Time got away from me for awhile and even delayed the video by a whole day. So if that’s not an endorsement for how good these games are, I’m not sure what is. If you want to take a quick look at all these games in action, be sure to check out the video below!
This is a pretty cool game made by cartoon network, so the cartoon graphics are pretty legit. You’re basically this kid named K.O. and you’re running around fighting robots and saving heroes in order to rebuild your town which was blown to pieces. You have a lot of different moves like slide kicking, punching, and ground pounding. You’ll have to use these different moves in order to defeat specific enemies which makes it pretty challenging. Overall, it’s a pretty entertaining game.
This is a brand new game that has a really simple objective. Use your character to to jump from platform to platform. It sounds easy, but it gets pretty difficult once the platforms start moving in different directions because you’ll have to time your jumps accordingly. As of right now my high score is 66, do you think you can beat it?
Weird name, fun game. In this game you’re try to save this big egg by throwing these little bird creatures into the falling enemies. It gets pretty hectic pretty quick, but it’s tons of fun. This game reminds of “Bubble Shooter” from back in the day when I used to play it on my Treo. Mostly because you’re using the walls to change the trajectory of the little birds to hit enemies that might need to be hit from different angles. Definitely check it out!
All is Lost
This is a fast paced game where you’re a person in space trying to run out of a spaceship that’s going to self destruct. The controls are easy to learn, but you better be ready because after the first 2 levels, this game is pretty unforgiving. But once you get the hang of it and the movements become pretty natural and you feel pretty cool rolling, jumping, and sliding to victory!
Here’s a strategy game that you can just sink hours and hours into. You start out as a wizard with a small number of spells and you continually upgrade your spells and recruit new team members to strengthen your squad. There are elemental spells that come into play where enemies have strengths and weaknesses toward particular ones. And each spell or action takes a certain amount of turns depending on the strength of the attack/spell so you’ll have to play smart in order to defeat your enemies.
