Apple has seeded another beta for those within the Public Beta Test program, giving another glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming software.

Apple has seeded the third public beta of OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 to the public beta testers. As is par for the course, it is the same beta build as was released for developers recently, featuring the same software tweaks, improvements, and enhancements. As far as what’s new in this particular release, that remains to be seen, if anything, but if there are new features sussed out of this public beta, we’ll update this page accordingly.

Apple has also released a slightly updated version of OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 beta 3 for developers, bumping the version number up to 15E39d. It was previously 15E39c.

OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 features support for sending and viewing Live Photos within the Messages app. It also supports secure Notes.

Apple’s current focus areas for developers, and by extension public beta testers, has been iBooks, Messages, Notes, and Photos.
