There are a lot of email apps out there, but the ones that grow in popularity also see more users crying out for more features, and support for more Apple devices.
That’s not much different from the way things have gone for the popular Spark email app, which, up until recently, was only available for the iPhone. Now, though, the team behind the app, Readdle, has updated the app to version 1.6, which brings plenty of new features and support to the app.
First and foremost, the app now supports the iPad, including the iPad Pro, which should help in adoption for users that have been waiting to use it on a larger display. On top of that, Spark also supports watchOS 2, as well. The user interface has also been tweaked slightly, which should make it easier to use.
Now that more devices are supported, Readdle has also included account syncing, which is handled through iCloud, so no need to create a new account to access the feature. Spark also includes support for up to nine languages, including Japanese, English, Chinese, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, and Portuguese.
Readdle says that a Mac version of the app is on the way, but unfortunately a release date hasn’t been provided just yet.
