Apple today unveiled a smaller 9.7-inch iPad Pro, which is essentially a smaller variant of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro that it had unveiled last year alongside the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The tablet packs in some really impressive hardware, which makes it a viable laptop-replacement for many. The company has made some improvements to the tablet, including adding a True Tone display to it.
If you are looking to replace your laptop with the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro from Apple, you will be glad to know that the tablet goes on sale from March 31, with pre-orders beginning from March 24. Apple will be offering the 9.7-inch iPad Pro in 32GB, 128GB and for the first time ever, in 256GB storage variants. The base model with 32GB storage and Wi-Fi connectivity starts from $599, while the 128GB and 256GB variants are priced at $799 and $899.
The company did not mention anything about the pricing of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro with LTE connectivity, and it is also unlikely that the variant will launch alongside the Wi-Fi variant on March 30.
Apple will be offering the 9.7-inch iPad Pro in four colors: Silver, Space Gray, Rose Gold and Gold.
