iPad Pro might not be the only “Pro” iOS device for long. According to a new report, Apple will launch an iPhone Pro alongside iPhone 7 this fall, which will provide users with greater camera capabilities using two rear-facing camera sensors.
We’ve seen lots of reports claiming that Apple will launch an iPhone with two rear-facing cameras this year, and one of them suggested this device would be an even more impressive version of the iPhone 7 Plus. So, we would have iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and then a third option.
Now MyDrivers, citing a report out of China, says that third option will be named iPhone Pro. This will provide it with a “more professional” image, the report adds, and will better distinguish it from iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and the more affordable iPhone SE.
It’s unclear if iPhone Pro will bring any other advantages, so we’ll have to wait for more information on that. But we cannot verify the authenticity of this report, so don’t be too disappointed if the device doesn’t appear this fall after all.
Would you pay more for an iPhone Pro with an extra camera sensor? What if that’s the only advantage it has over iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus?Like this post? Share it!
