While Apple hasn’t come out and said when this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference will take place, the safe bet is in June.
Siri to the rescue, it seems. Whether this is working as an official announcement from Apple or not still remains to be seen, but it has been discovered that asking Apple’s digital personal assistant, “When is WWDC,” she is more than willing to offer up, “The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held June 13 through June 17 in San Francisco. I can’t wait!”
It’s been confirmed that Siri was actually simply saying, “WWDC is not announced yet” earlier today, so it appears she’s been updated to promote the dates. However, as it stands, Apple has not made an official announcement, and the WWDC page has not been updated to reflect the dates.
It’s expected that Apple will announce its next versions of its different operating systems. That includes iOS 10, the new version of OS X which could be named macOS, and more. It’s believed Apple will be bringing Siri to its desktop platform as well.
