Apple has officially seeded the first beta for tvOS 9.2.1 for the fourth-generation Apple TV equipped with tvOS. The new beta for Apple’s upcoming software arrives two weeks after the company officially released tvOS 9.2 to the public, which featured new additions like folders, better Siri support, and much more.
The first beta for tvOS 9.2.1 appears to be small in scale, with the major focus being on behind-the-scenes improvements and enhancements.
To install the new beta on the fourth-gen Apple TV, you’ll need to connect the set-top box to a computer via a USB-C to USB-A cable. Once that is done, download the beta software and install it on the Apple TV through iTunes or Apple Configurator.
If any new features are discovered in the new beta, we’ll update this post accordingly.
