Apple has seeded the first beta of watchOS 2.2.1 to developers. The beta arrives just two weeks after Apple officially released watchOS 2.2 to the public, which included a variety of new features, like supporting multiple watches paired to a single iPhone.
The beta software is available through the specific Watch app. Those interested in accessing the test software can find it by going into General –> Software Update within the Watch app. To install the new software, though, the Apple Watch must have 50 percent battery life, at least, it must be on the Apple Watch’s charger, and it has to be within range of the connected iPhone.
The release notes for the new software say that watchOS 2.2.2 is dedicated to behind-the-scenes fixes and improvements, but if anything else is discovered in the new software we’ll update this post.
