The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have leaked numerous times in the last couple of weeks, and today, we get to see the handsets up close in yet another leak. The leaked photo and video highlight the changes design changes of the phone and show the larger camera hump present on the rear of both devices.
The photo shows the dual camera setup at the rear of the iPhone 7 Plus up close. Not much can be said or figured about the camera from this picture, but it is clear that Apple has switched to this setup on the iPhone 7 Plus to improve its imaging performance, especially in low-light. The iPhone 7 will feature a better camera than its predecessor if its larger camera cutout at the rear is anything to go by.
Another leaked video posted on Weibo compares a dummy unit of a Rose Gold iPhone 7 to that of the iPhone 6s. The video clearly shows the design differences between the two, and it also confirms that the iPhone 7 will feature a stereo speaker setup at its rear. The cleaner back of the iPhone 7 does make it look more attractive than its predecessor, but it remains to be seen if such a minor design upgrade will be enough to make consumers switch to it.
None of the leaks from today reveal anything new. But at this point, there really is not much left to be known about the upcoming iPhones that are due to be unveiled in September. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will feature a cleaner back that will see the antenna lines being moved to the bottom and top edges, lack a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, and feature slightly larger batteries. They will also be water-resistant and feature a larger camera sensor for improved camera performance.[Source Weibo; Via 9to5Mac]
