With less than a month left for Apple to unveil the new iPhones, leaked photos of the handset have been making their way to the internet almost every other day. Today is no different as some high-resolution photos of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in gold have leaked.
Apart from being of particularly high resolution, the photos show the same iPhone that almost every other leaked photo from before has shown. The source of the image is LetemSvétem which says it received these images from an online store. The source apparently also has images of a blue version of the iPhone, though it did not supply those photos.
The images show the rear shell of the iPhone lacking an ‘SE” branding thereby debunking rumors of the next iPhone being called the iPhone 6SE. Hence, it is likely that Apple will be calling the next iPhones as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus despite them featuring a minor redesign.
Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhones in the first week of September, with the handsets going on sale in the week of September 12th. The new iPhones are going to be water-resistant, a faster A10 chip, and a vastly improved camera. The bigger iPhone 7 Plus will also feature dual camera lens at the rear for improved low-light photography.
