On September 13, Apple officially released iOS 10 to the masses, which also saw the arrival of some major changes for iMessage.
That includes its own specific App Store, which allows users to buy a variety of different sticker packs, as well as find applications that will work with the messaging platform moving forward. Now, one day after launch, Apple has made a significant change that should make it easier to find what someone might be looking for.
Apple has officially updated the iMessage App Store to support a brand new Categories section, which, as categories tend to do, make it easier to find a specific option. The new categories include Games, Lifestyle, Photo & Video, Entertainment, Food & Drink, and others. There is also a promotional “app carousel” that will show a few new, and favorited, apps available to download.
Stickers have their own subcategories, too. There are already a plethora to choose from, with more on the way, so this was probably a solid decision on Apple’s part, to help keep everything as tidy as possible.
Have you tried out the iMessage App Store yet? Found any great sticker packs you can’t live without?
