Ever wanted to customize the look of the battery icon in the Status bar? Check out Lithium Ion, a new jailbreak tweak that comes packed with a bunch of customization settings and icons to change the battery icon.
With this new tweak, you can get rid of the original battery icon in the Status bar and replace it with a new fancier looking icon. Lithium Ion comes with over than 20 different battery icons that can be applied to the Status bar. Furthermore, you can customize these icons by changing their color for each state of the battery.
You’ll find all the customization settings via the tweak’s preferences pane in Settings. The pane is broken down into different sections such as Theme, Profiles, Color Options etc.
In the ‘Theme’ pane, you’ll find all the installed themes that come with the tweak. You can choose any one of the available themes and use it for the Status bar battery icon.
To customize the icon, you have to go to the Color Options section where you can change the color of each and every aspect of the battery icon such as the unfilled portion, charging color and much more.
Now, the interesting part of this tweak is that it allows you to create profiles. If you choose a specific theme and customize it, you can save its settings as a profile. This way, you can quickly switch from one color profile to another without doing it all over again.
Next comes the ‘Other Options’ section where you will find miscellaneous settings to enable or disable certain functionality such as hiding or unhiding the charging bolt and battery percentage, using a secondary theme and much more.
The good thing about this tweak is that the changes take right away so you don’t have to respring your device to view the new settings. Simply customize whatever you want and they will be shown right away in the Status bar.
If you’re in to give this tweak a try, it is available for free of charge in Cydia’s BigBoss repo. Make sure to let us know what you think about it in the comments below.Like this post? Share it!
