With the iOS 10 update, Apple disabled shortcut access to certain apps and parts of apps. Launcher, the bad boy of widget land, was caught in the middle of the mess, again. After upgrading to iOS 10, Launcher users were no longer able to launch shortcuts to options inside the settings app. Things like VPN and Cellular Data.
But now, with version 2.2.3, that changes. Launcher developers have found a workaround, essentially a different set of URL shortcuts that brings the functionality back. The developers stress that this is a workaround, and it could be disabled by Apple in future updates. Until then, enjoy your enhanced productivity.
Launcher v2.2.3 is now out. Good news! We found out a workaround for launching the system apps in iOS 10 so they are now enabled. Enjoy.
