After the success of the Jet Black iPhone 7, Apple is reportedly considering adding a new “Jet White” color option to its new iPhones. The report from Mac Otakara is based on unreliable sources so take this report with a pinch of salt.
The report does not state when — if at all — Apple plans on adding a new “Jet White” color option to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Apple has never in the past introduced a new color option for the iPhone while in the middle of its cycle so it is unlikely that we will see the company do something like it this year.
The Jet Black iPhone 7 has been a runaway success among consumers despite the mirror-like finish of the surface making the use of a case a must to prevent it from scratches and micro abrasions. Apple also launched a new matte black color option for the iPhone 7 this year. The introduction of two new color schemes seems to have worked wonders for Apple despite the iPhone 7 coming with almost the same design that Apple first introduced with the iPhone 6 in 2014.
