Keeping up with its yearly traditions, Apple will be hosting a limited-time sale in Japan beginning in 2017.
Apple will be hosting a New Year’s sale in Japan, beginning on January 2, both in its physical retail stores in the country, and through its online store as well. At this point in time, there’s no word exactly on what type of discounts or other incentives Apple will have in place when the sale goes live, but it’s possible they’ll match the Black Friday deals Apple had in place in the United States earlier this month.
That means those in Japan could see Apple issue gift cards up to $150 with the purchase of an Apple product, like a Mac or an iPad.
As noted by MacRumors, it’s also likely that Apple will be hosting other, similar sales as the new year progresses. Lunar New Year, which takes place on January, 28, will likely see sales launch in other countries.
