Apple today released a new ‘One Night’ ad under its ‘Shot on iPhone 7’ marketing campaign. The simple ad consists of photos that were taken by photographers from all over the world in low-lighting conditions for the ‘One Night on iPhone 7’ campaign to show off the handset’s imaging prowess.
The one-minute ad consists of photos, videos, time lapses, and a collection of GIFs, with Apple crediting the respected photographer while showing the photo captured by them at the bottom.
While the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus continue to make use of a 12MP sensor, Apple upgraded the whole ISP and setup for improved performance. The 12MP sensor on the handsets is now paired with a f/1.8 lens and features OIS which greatly helps improve low-light photos. The iPhone 7 Plus also features a secondary telephoto lens that allows it to offer up to 2x optical zoom without any loss in image quality.
