But, for those who have been waiting to get their digits on Facebook Stories, the wait is over. TechCrunch reports that the social network is now officially rolling out the future to all users worldwide. At this point, Facebook has worked the Stories feature into Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and even WhatsApp.
And now it’s finally in the Facebook app proper.
The new Stories feature is available through a switch to the user interface that puts this feature near the top of the app. It works just like the Snapchat origin: Users can upload a photo or video, which is viewable by Facebook friends and family for only 24 hours before it disappears. Users can reply to it through Facebook Messenger if they so desire.
This is a standard rollout, so while the feature may not be live for all users right this moment, the rollout begins today.
