As reported by The Verge, the Facebook-owned Instagram is rolling out a new update to its app that will bring “geostickers” to Stories. With these stickers, users will be able to spruce up their Stories by tossing in stickers that represent the city they’re located in, down to the neighborhood. And if the feature looks familiar, it’s because Snapchat already has a similar feature.
The new geostickers are only available in New York City and Jakarta right now, but Instagram says they’ll be available in more cities at a later date. If you happen to live in either one of these cities, the new Instagram Stories features is rolling out today (for iOS and Android).
