What’s the Difference between the New iPad and 9.7-inch iPad Pro?

Apple today released its cheapest iPad yet: the new iPad. Successor to the iPad Air 2, the new iPad sits below the existing 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The new iPad is not a ‘Pro’ as its name suggests, but how does it differ from Apple’s Pro iPad?

The design of the new iPad and the iPad Pro are the same, but the former is thicker and heavier than it. This is despite the 9.7-inch iPad Pro packing in more features and powerful internals. Let’s have a detailed look at the differences of the two devices below.
