Apple has turned to the Apple Watch to help celebrate a variety of different holidays recently.
For instance, last year saw Apple celebrate Thanksgiving in the United States with a host of new physical challenges for Apple Watch owners to reach. They did the same thing with a New Year’s Eve challenge as well. And now the company is back at it again, this time celebrating Earth Day 2017.
Earth Day, which is Saturday, April 22, is the theme for Apple Watch owners to get outside, enjoy the weather (hopefully the weather’s nice), and take part in a 30-minute outdoor exercise. If you earn the challenge’s award at the end, you’ll get new iMessage stickers and a brand new, special achievement award.
Earth Day Challenge
Get outside and celebrate Earth Day on April 22 and earn this award. Go for a walk, run, cycle, wheelchair or swim workout of 30 minutes or more in the Workout app or any third-party app that writes these workouts to Health. You will also earn special stickers for Messages.
The new challenges and stickers are already appearing for some, and should continue to roll out throughout the night moving forward.
Have you completed any of Apple’s Apple Watch challenges yet?
