While there is a constant swirl of rumors that Apple plans on acquiring a company that’s around the size of Netflix, or even Disney, another type of acquisition has been made.

As noted by the report from 9to5Mac the specific details of the acquisition are not known right now, but they should be made public in some fashion or another soon enough.
Until then, the Beddit iOS app has been updated to reflect the acquisition, and therefore the change in ways it collects data:
Beddit is also known for releasing hardware, which is designed to go under the sheet on a bed where it can better track your sleep habits. Of course, it’s likely that Apple’s plan for acquiring Beddit is more on the software side of things, with sleep tracking being one of the most oft-requested features for the Apple Watch.
