Apple acquired the popular segment, “Carpool Karaoke,” not too long ago, and now, following a delay, it finally has a launch date to circle on a calendar.
Today, Apple executive Eddy Cue took to Twitter to announce that Carpool Karaoke: The Series will arrive on Apple Music beginning August 8. It will be locked behind the Apple Music paywall, of course, so if you’re a subscriber you’ll get the content beginning on the aforementioned date.

When it’s all said and done, the series will have 16 episodes that will measure in at thirty minutes. The show was originally meant to launch in April of this year, so this is certainly quite a delay. When the show arrives, we’ll see different hosts meet up with a variety of artists and stars, and they’ll drive around in their car and sing tunes.
