Yesterday, Apple released the newest version of tvOS to the public, and now the company is back with a new beta for developers.
Apple today officially seeded the first developer beta of tvOS 10.2.2, which appears to be another mild update from the initial tvOS 10.2 update that was released some time ago. Like the tvOS 10.2.1 update before it, tvOS 10.2.2 is likely meant to address any behind-the-scenes issues that may have been discovered recently, as well as improve the overall experience.
It will likely not include any major forward-facing new features, especially with WWDC 2017 so close.
To update, registered developers can download the beta by connecting the fourth-generation Apple TV to a computer via the USB-C cable, and the software can be downloaded from Apple’s dedicated developers website or via iTunes.
We don’t know what’s in tvOS 10.2.2 Developer Beta 1 right now, but if anything new is discovered, we’ll update this post accordingly.Like this post? Share it!
