iOS 11 comes with tons of exciting new features, but one of the changes that stands out is the redesigned Control Center that looks completely different than previous iterations of iOS. The new design turns Control Center into a tile-based view with all the controls placed on a single page rather than multiple pages.
If you’re fond of the new Control Center design, but can’t wait for iOS 11 to be released, then you’re going to love a brand new jailbreak tweak known as ControlCenterXI. This tweak brings the iOS 11 Control Center to iOS 10 and does a great job at replicating it.
Upon installing this tweak, open Control Center and you’ll notice that it has been completely revamped to look like that of iOS 11. The amazing part is that it functions exactly as the iOS 11 Control Center. You can swipe the brightness or the volume tile to adjust their level, interact with the toggles, as well as 3D Touch on some tiles to expand them.
Just like iOS 11, if you 3D Touch any of the toggles, the tile expands to display additional toggles. If your device doesn’t support 3D Touch, then you can simply tap and hold on a toggle to achieve the same effect.
ControlCenterXI supports other Control Center tweaks such as FlipControlCenter and Noctis. FlipControlCenter is a tweak that lets you to add additional toggles to Control Center. If you’ve installed this tweak and added extra toggles to Control Center, then you can view them when the toggles tile is expanded.
The tweak also comes with a preferences pane in Settings where you’ll find a few customization options. You can set the radius of the Control Center tiles, hide or show the wallpaper behind Control Center, and enable a lighter interface for Control Center. Once you’re done making the changes, respring your device for the changes to take effect.
If you can’t wait to get your hands on iOS 11, you can get a glimpse of it on your iOS 10 device with ControlCenterXI. This combined with another tweak known as Lysithea X allows you to enjoy some features of iOS 11 on your jailbroken iOS 10 device without having to wait for the official release of iOS 11.
If you’re interested to give this tweak a try, ControlCenterXI is available for purchase from Cydia’s BigBoss repo for $1.50.Like this post? Share it!
