With the iPhone 8 now reportedly entering mass production, more leaks of the device have started making their way to the internet. We have already seen the handset leaked in a new Copper Gold color, and today, a short 5-second video has been posted on YouTube which gives us a quick look at the front and back of the handset.
It is more than likely that the iPhone 8 unit in the video is a dummy one that does not function or power on.
The unit in the video has a vertically placed dual-camera setup at the rear, an all display front with no physical home button, and multiple sensors hidden inside the top bezel for facial recognition purposes.
Apple will be unveiling the iPhone 8 alongside the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus in September. The new premium iPhone model will feature an OLED display with a notch display design and and a bezel-less front. It will make use of glass panels at the front and rear, with a metallic chassis sandwiched between it. The handset will come with Face ID — a form of facial recognition that will also support third-party apps. The vertically placed dual camera setup at the rear will feature 3D depth sensing capabilities that will allow Apple to offer path-breaking new AR features on the handset. Other specs of the iPhone 8 include wireless charging, fast wired charging, and improved waterproofing.
