If you’re in the market for a new desktop computer, and you’ve been fancying Apple’s 27-inch iMac, but you haven’t wanted to pay full price for a brand new unit, Apple has you covered.
Apple is now listing the 27-inch iMac model in the refurbished category in its online store. This is the newest model, the one that was initially launched in June of this year (alongside a new 21.5-inch model), and it’s the first time it has appeared in the online store’s refurbished section.
As is par for the course, Apple is offering different models to choose from, each with their own unique specifications and price tag. The most expensive model, the Refurbished 27-inch iMac 4.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 with Retina 5K display model, is priced at $2,719.00. Meanwhile, if you want the cheapest option, that is the Refurbished 27-inch iMac 3.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 with Retina 5K display model, which is priced at $1,529.00, outfitted with a 15 percent discount.
There are more than a dozen different iMac models to choose from, some dating back to models that were initially released in 2014. The cheapest option in general was the 27-inch iMac released in October of 2015, priced at $1,269.00. The most expensive model is the Refurbished 27-inch iMac 4.0GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7 with Retina 5K display, which will cost you $3,139.00.
The inclusion of the June 27-inch iMac models is a good addition, and anyone who has been looking for their new desktop might want to take a second look through the refurbished options offered by Apple. Here’s how the company describes their refurbished models:
“We test and certify all Apple refurbished products and include a 1-year warranty.
All refurbished Mac models include a power adapter / cord and a new white box.
Supply is limited and availability is guaranteed once we receive your full payment.”
