Earlier this year, Comcast launched its own MVNO, Xfinity Mobile, and, just recently, it became available across the entire United States.
And now, to sweeten the deal for any potential subscribers, Comcast is offering a pretty distinct discount on the iPhones the carrier has to offer, including the iPhone 7/7 Plus, the iPhone 6s/6s Plus, and the iPhone SE. There are other discounts on other, Android-based devices, too, if you are inclined to use that platform. Here are the prices now, following the discounts. You can find the Apple listing through this link.
- iPhone SE: $199.99 (or $8.33 per month for 24 months)
- iPhone 6s: $249.99 (or $10.42 per month for 24 months)
- iPhone 6s Plus: $349.99 (or $14.58 per month for 24 months)
- iPhone 7: $449.99 (or $18.75 per month for 24 months)
- iPhone 7 Plus: $569.99 (or $23.75 per month for 24 months)
In each case, the pricing listed above starts at the lowest built-in storage option, and will go up based on the amount of storage you want in your handset. But it’s worth noting that the discount does apply to those devices, too, so it’s not just for the beginning tier. And, finally, Comcast doesn’t allow new customers to bring their own devices to Xfinity Mobile, so these discounts are certainly worthwhile for anyone looking to switch over to this option.
Here’s the nitty gritty of the discount, as per Comcast:
“Offers valid 8/25/17 through 9/13/17. Restrictions apply. $200 savings off regular retail price when activating a new XFINITY Mobile line of service. Valid on select devices. While supplies last. Limit 5 per account.”
With new iPhones on the horizon, the discount’s probably there in part just to get through stock. Still, if you’re in the market for a new phone, or phones, and want to use Xfinity Mobile, it’s good to have the discount in place.
