Since the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in 2015, Apple has been launching two new iPhones this year. This time around though, the company did launch a third new iPhone model, the iPhone X, but that is too expensive and will be available at a later date. It is the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus which are going to sell like hot cakes. So, what are the differences between the two devices?

In a nutshell, the difference between the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus remain the same as last year. This means the iPhone 8 Plus comes with better battery life, a bigger display, a better dual-camera setup, and a bigger size.   • The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are made entirely of glass with an aero-grade aluminum chassis
  • The iPhone 8 features a 4.7-inch 750p Retina Display with 326ppi
    • The iPhone 8 Plus, on the other hand, features a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 401ppi
    • Both phones feature a True Tone display along with 3D Touch and DCI-P3 color gamut support
  • The iPhone 8 Plus is bigger and heavier than the iPhone 8
    • The iPhone 8 is 7.3 mm thick, 138.4 mm tall, and 67.3 mm wide

  • The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus go up for pre-order on September 15
    • The handsets will hit the retail stores on September 22
  • The iPhone 8 has been priced at $699 for the 64GB variant
    • The 64GB iPhone 8 Plus has been priced at $799
  • Both phones are available in Silver, Space Gray, and Gold colors
