Now that Apple has made the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus official, there’s only two question everyone’s asking: when does the handset go on sale and how much will it cost? Well, we answer these questions for you.
iPhone 8 Price
Apple continues to offer the unlocked base iPhone 8 model for $699, with the iPhone 8 Plus costing an additional $100 for $799. The prices of the unlocked variant of the two handsets remain the same as their predecessor from last year. Both handsets will only be available in 64GB and 256GB storage variants.
Under Apple’s iPhone Upgrade Program, you will have to pay $34.50/month for 24 months for the iPhone 8, with the iPhone 8 Plus coming in at $39.50/month. The new iPhones will also be available as an eligible upgrade for all customers of the iPhone Upgrade Program. The iPhone Upgrade Program is available in the US, the UK, and China. Apple has also tweaked the program’s policy and one can now mail-in their existing iPhone to the company instead of having to queue up outside of its retail store.
