Apple today announced that it will be making the iPhone X available for walk-in customers on the handset’s launch day i.e. November 3 at 8:00 a.m. local time. The company encourages interested buyers to arrive early to ensure they are able to get their hands on the device.
Apple will start accepting pre-orders for the iPhone X in over 55 countries from October 27, with the device hitting the retail stores from November 3. Demand for the iPhone X is expected to be through the roof which means that if you don’t get your pre-order early, you likely won’t be able to get your hands on the iPhone X before the end of this year. Apple is already battling with supply issues with the iPhone X which has led many analysts to lower their sales forecast for the device to a mere 20-25 million units for 2017.
Due to the sheer demand, such a wide launch, and limited stock, Apple Stores across the world are going to receive very limited stock of the device. So, if you really want to get your hands on the iPhone X on launch day, follow Apple’s advice and queue up early outside your local Apple Store.
