Coolstar has been on a roll after releasing Electra jailbreak toolkit for iOS 11 – iOS 11.1.2, a jailbreak developer focussed jailbreak tool to test their jailbreak tweaks and themes.
He has released the fourth beta version so far for Electra to fix all the issues reported by users.
Electra jailbreak toolkit beta 4 includes the following improvements and bug fixes:
1. Disables the NVRAM patch as it still appears to be unstable
2. Improves reliability of the amfid patch
3. Adds a “substrate shim” so existing substrate-based tweaks can use libsubstitute without modifications
He followed it up by releasing a minor update, Electra beta 4-2 which includes the following fix:
Fixes a symlink that was required for some existing substrate extensions to work with substitute
Electra beta 2 had also fixed “anemone not recognizing themes and fixes the black screen issue when jailbreaking with tweaks enabled.”
Electra includes the Substitute substrate which was originally developed by Comex, so jailbreakers will be able to install and use jailbreak tweaks that are compatible with iOS 11. It, however, does not include Cydia, so you need to install it manually.
You can download the latest version of Electra IPA from the official website. You will need to use Cydia Impactor to sideload the Electra IPA and then run the process to jailbreak your iOS device.
