Martin Hajek is a well known figure in the mobile industry. He is known for creating extremely convincing mockups of popular smartphones. He has now come up with a mockup of the iPhone X in several variations of Gold.
Courtesy of images posted on Hajek’s website, we can see mockups of the iPhone X along with its 2018 successor in Gold, White/Gold, and Black/Gold combinations. While these renders will probably never be utilized by Apple in any form, it gives us a very good idea of what Apple can do in terms of color combinations. The iPhone X is only offered in Space Gray and Silver, so perhaps we can expect the addition of a new color variant with the successor later this year.
The mockups reveal that no other changes are in place, as this is merely the standard iPhone X with gold paint-jobs. The designs are incredibly attractive, though, and could serve as decent alternatives to the current lineup. It is worth noting that Apple has cut down the available color options with the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus models as well. The iPhone 7 lineup consisted of Black, Jet Black, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold models whereas the iPhone 8 is available only in Silver, Gold, and Space Gray.
Apple is expected to launch three new iPhones this year, including its biggest iPhone ever, known as the “iPhone X Plus”. As we countdown to its arrival in the fall this year, we really hope to encounter some Gold iterations of the device.
