If you are in the market for a new iPhone, but don’t want to pay new iPhone prices, then a refurbished model from Apple might fit the bill.
Beginning today, Apple is now selling refurbished iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models in its Online Store. For now, it looks like the new options are only available in the United States. It is worth noting that when it comes to the iPhone 7, Apple has all three storage models available and all five color options, but the iPhone 7 Plus is only available in three colors and in 32GB and 128GB storage options — the 256GB model isn’t listed (yet).
As usual, here is how Apple describes its refurbished devices:
“We test and certify all Apple refurbished products and include a 1-year warranty.
All refurbished iPhone models also include a brand new battery, new outer shell and a new white box.
Supply is limited and availability is guaranteed once we receive your full payment.”
The most expensive iPhone 7 model is the one with 256GB of built-in storage, and its price point is set at $679.00 — which is 9% off the original price, or $70 off. Meanwhile, the model with the least expensive price tag is the iPhone 7 with 32GB of built-in storage, priced at $499 — 9% off or a savings of $50.00.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 7 Plus can cost as much as $689.00 for the 128GB model — a savings of 10%, or $80.00 off the original price point. The refurbished 32GB iPhone 7 Plus costs $599.00 — a savings of 10%, or $70.00 off the original price.
As usual, if you want to save some money up front, Apple’s refurbished models are a quick and easy way to do that. It’s a shame that the 256GB iPhone 7 Plus isn’t being offered right now, though.
