Twelve South has become one of the go-to third-party companies when it comes to accessories for Apple products.
And now the company has unveiled a brand new case for the iPhone X. They are calling it the “SurfacePad”, and the design not only protects Apple’s newest smartphone, but also offers up a few key features to help the case stand out. The design itself is crafted from leather, and offers a distinct cutout for the dual camera setup on the back of the smartphone.
“This super thin, luxury leather cover protects the front and back of your iPhone from common hazards, like concrete countertops or the keys in your purse. Along with basic protection, our newest SurfacePad for iPhone X offers automatic wake/sleep functionality when you open or close the front flap. As always, this beautiful cover features card slots for you ID and credit card and a display stand for showing off that hilarious video you discovered. It’s everything you need rolled into one beautiful leather jacket.”
You set the iPhone X within the case, and it offers a closing cover to protect the display. On the inside of that cover, though, are two inserts that serve as quick access spots for your credit cards or I.D. You can see it pictured just above.
Also mentioned above, the SurfacePad or iPhone X features a built-in stand, which means you can set the device in landscape mode, pop out the stand, and then watch content on the display without having to hold the handset.
The SurfacePad for iPhone X is available now, with free shipping on all orders in the United States. It comes in three colors: Blue, Black, and Brown. It is priced at $49.99.
Twelve South has definitely become one of this writer’s favorite sources for Apple accessories. I’m even a fan of the candle the company sells. For devices, though, Twelve South’s designs and craftsmanship are top-of-the-line.
