It takes 3 steps to unlock an iPhone X. Raise to wake or tap to wake the iPhone X, then glance at it, and when the lock icon on the screen animates from closed to open, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to unlock.
Some iPhone X users find the last step of swiping up from the bottom of the screen to unlock it, unnecessary. If you’re one of them, then you can use the FaceUnlockX Cydia tweak to skip that last step.
After installing the tweak, the iPhone X will be automatically unlocked when you glance at it, so you don’t need to go through the trouble of swiping up from the bottom of the screen to unlock it.
The tweak won’t automatically unlock iPhone X when Music is playing or when there are notifications on the Lock screen, which makes sense as it allows you to read the notifications or use playback controls while the Music is playing.
Personally, I wouldn’t like my iPhone X to be unlocked when I glance at it. But if you find it more convenient then you can check out FaceUnlockX. FaceUnlockX like BatteryPercentX, BioProtect X are some of the first Cydia tweaks to be released for iPhone X.
Let us know what you think of FaceUnlockX. Do you find it more convenient?
