Announced yesterday, the new Product(RED) iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus from Apple are now available for order through its online store. For now, the handsets are available in the United States, the United Kingdom, and a few other countries, with a wider availability slated for the end of this week. By April 13, you will also be able to buy the Product(RED) iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus from Apple’s retail or authorized stores.
Pricing for the red iPhone 8 and 8 Plus remain the same as the other colors of the handsets. This means the unlocked iPhone 8 (64GB) is priced at $699 and goes up to $849 for the 256GB variant. The iPhone 8 Plus is priced at $799, with the 256GB variant costing $949.
If you are eager to get your hands on a red iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, you should probably just wait for April 13 when you can head out and buy the handset directly from an Apple Store. This is because despite Apple accepting orders for the Product(RED) iPhone 8 through its online store from today, the handset will only be delivered to customers on or after April 13. The Product(RED) iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available in all the markets where the handsets are currently available, though the rollout will only complete by May.
