After photos of the dummy units of the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone and the iPhone X Plus made their way to the internet over the weekend, a video has surfaced courtesy of @Onleaks which provides a detailed hands-on look at both devices.
The 36-second long video shows the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone and the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus, both in white, from all sides. Both units are presumably dummy units since none of the handsets are powered on during the course of the video.
The video below clearly shows that the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will feature an aluminum frame along with a single camera set up at the rear to keep its price in check. The 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus, on the other hand, will feature a shinier stainless steel chassis along with a dual-camera setup at the rear. It also seems to be thinner than the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone.
While the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone is going to be cheaper than the iPhone X Plus by a fair margin, both phones are going to feature the same design language. Apple is instead aiming to offer superior build quality, camera performance, and experience on the bigger 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus to distinguish it from the cheaper handset.
Apart from white, Apple will be launching its 2018 iPhone lineup in a multitude of other colors.
Alongside the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone and the iPhone X Plus, Apple will also be launching the 5.8-inch iPhone X. All three handsets will feature a notch, Face ID, fast charging, water-resistance, and minimal bezels. The iPhone X and iPhone X Plus will make use of OLED panels and thus have thinner bezels than the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone.
