A fresh set of photos of the dummy units of the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone and the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus have leaked online.
These dummy units have leaked multiple times in various photos and videos over the last couple of weeks on the internet. Today’s leak does not reveal anything new and they are likely of the same dummy units which have leaked in previous photos.
The photos show the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone as having a single camera at the setup. While not obvious in the pictures, the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will also feature an aluminum chassis instead of a stainless steel chassis to keep its cost down.
As for the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone X Plus, the dummy unit features a dual-camera setup at the rear as the leaks have also pointed out. Otherwise, it features the same design as the regular iPhone X. It is expected to come with 4GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, faster Face ID, along with powerful internals.
Apple is expected to add dual-SIM functionality to the LCD iPhone variant that it plans on selling in China. The handset will cater to customers in price-sensitive markets like China and India where budget smartphones with dual-SIM functionality tend to do very well. The handset will also be available in a variety of colors, while the bigger iPhone X Plus and the 5.8-inch iPhone X will continue to be available in silver, gold, and black.
