After pulling the iOS 12 beta 7 update due to performance issues, Apple today released the beta 8 of the OS to developers and public beta testers. Apart from fixing the slow app loading issue that plagued the original beta 7, the latest iOS 12 beta also brings about a host of other small changes.
With Apple now working on finalizing iOS 12 before its official release in September, iOS 12 beta releases now are more about fixing the small bugs and issues rather than introducing any major changes.
Below is everything that’s new with iOS 12 beta 8:
- Measure app icon has been tweaked
- Group FaceTime feature has been removed and delayed from the final release of iOS 12 and macOS Mojave
- New welcome screen in the Messages app
- New welcome screen for the gestures on iPad
