Yesterday was a busy day, what with Apple announcing three new iPhones and a new Apple Watch. And as is common practice for the company, there were plenty of promotional videos interspersed with the announcements to show off all the new and shiny things.
If you didn’t catch the event as it was happening, Apple is typically nice enough to upload those videos to its official YouTube channel so that everyone can catch them later, after the event has wrapped up. That is the case this time around to, with Apple publishing the promo videos for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, the iPhone XR, and the Apple Watch Series 4.
For those who didn’t watch it happen, there was a bit of trolling on Apple’s part, too. Before the event even kicked off, Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, sent out a tweet that seemed to be a DM to someone else. Basically, Cook was asking if someone could deliver something to the Steve Jobs Theater. It looked like Cook made the Twitter mistake of sending a DM as a public tweet, and Twitter had a good laugh, while speculation ran rampant.
And then the event started and we saw an opening video with the theme song for Mission: Impossible as an Apple employee tried to make it over to the Steve Jobs Theater. We see that employee make it to Tim Cook just in time, delivering “the clicker” out of a briefcase. It was all pretty well orchestrated and a fun way to get things started.
Otherwise, there’s also a video that includes all of Apple’s major announcements yesterday, and the standard promo videos. You can catch them all below, starting with the full event:
