Apple Store Goes Down Ahead of Pre-orders for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and Apple Watch Series 4

In just a few hours Apple will start taking pre-orders for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and the Apple Watch Series 4 on its online store. In preparation for the pre-orders, the company has taken its online store down for a few hours.

The online store is now expected to come back live when pre-orders for the new iPhones and Apple Watch are about to start i.e. around 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time. While Apple will start accepting pre-orders for the devices from today, they are only expected to start shopping out to consumers from next week and reach around September 21 — the same day the new iPhones and Apple Watch hit the retail stores.

The iPhone XS and XS Max go up for pre-order in the following countries from today:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the UAE, UK, US and US Virgin Islands.

As for the Apple Watch Series 4, it will be up for order in the following markets:
