Yesterday Apple released iOS 12 to the public. Now, one day later, the company is moving forward with the first developer beta for a subsequent update.
Today, Apple seeded the first developer beta of iOS 12.1 to developers. It’s available to download and install on devices that are already registered for the developer program as an over-the-air update. It is also available to download from Apple’s Developer Center.
At the time of publication it is not know what is new in iOS 12.1. However, considering the public release for the major update was launched recently, it’s likely that this is a minor update primarly meant to address any issues that have been discovered since the iOS 12 release. It is also possible that Apple is planning on adding group FaceTime calls to iOS 12, since that feature did miss the initial public launch earlier this week.
If anything new is discovered in the latest beta, we will update this post accordingly.
