After raising $750,000 in an original Kickstarter goal of $500,000 in 2017, mobile camera equipment manufacturer Moment has announced the launch of its Battery Camera case for the iPhone Xs and the iPhone X.
These cases come with a Lightning port, a two-stage camera shutter button, and a 3,100 mAh battery to wirelessly charge your iPhone. The company mentions that the camera shutter key is designed to avoid accidental presses as the button sits below the surface of the case. The exterior of the case is made of TPU rubber for added durability and grip.
The presence of a Lightning port is crucial as it allows users to juice up the case with their iPhone charging cable. This accessory is also compatible with Moment’s camera attachments that are sold on Amazon.
The company already sells the Battery Photo case for the iPhone 7 and 8, while this is the first such accessory for the iPhone X as well as the iPhone Xs. There is going to be a Battery Case for the iPhone Xs Max and the iPhone XR, but it won’t reach the markets until November.
Moment makes lenses dedicated for a specific purpose with the choice between macro, telephoto, superfish, wide, and a new anamorphic lens that is expected to reach markets soon. The lenses are not offered with the Battery Camera Case and have to be purchased separately (starting from $89.99).
The Moment Battery Camera Case will cost $99.99 and is expected to be on sale shortly.
