It has been a few hours since Apple started accepting pre-orders for the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. Unlike the last time around, there definitely seems to be less interest in both iPhones probably because of the modest improvements they bring to the table and their high price tags.
Unlike the last time around, the pre-ordering process of the iPhone XS and XS Max was relatively smooth this time around for interested consumers. The shipping estimates of the handsets also started slipping much later than usual. Plus, even after a few hours, they slipped by only a reasonable 1-2 weeks.
The same story stands true for the Apple Watch Series 4. There’s probably more interest in the Apple Watch Series 4 than the new iPhones this time around because of its impressive redesign, bigger screen, slimmer chassis, and ECG capabilities. The stainless steel variant was the first one whose shipping times slipped by 1-2 weeks.
Now that it has been a few hours since the iPhone XS, XS Max, and Apple Watch Series 4 went up for pre-order, which variant did you order? And when do you expect to receive it? Were you able to pre-order the same variant you wanted or due to stock issues, you ended up ordering any other unit? If you pre-ordered the iPhone XS Max, what made you decide on it over the regular iPhone XS? And if you went with the 512GB variant of either handset, why so?
What about the Apple Watch Series 4? Did you pre-order the variant you wanted or had to go with something else? Drop a comment below and let us know.
