Apple’s latest event, which took place in Brooklyn, New York, wrapped up not too long ago. And, as expected, the company’s latest devices are now available to preorder.
Apple officially unveiled several new devices. That includes the 2018 iPad Pro lineup, which comes in an 11- and 12.9-inch variant, as well as the new MacBook Air which (finally) introduces a Retina display into the unit. Apple also announced a new, more powerful Mac mini, along with a new Apple Pencil that can connect magnetically to the side of the new iPad Pro models, and charge wirelessly.
Apple’s new devices launch on Wednesday, November 7. However, as noted in the title, the preorder window is now going strong.
The new MacBook Air starts at $1,199. It is available in Apple’s Space Gray, Silver, and Gold colors. You can upgrade some of the specs to hike up the price to $1,399. The major additions to the new machine are the inclusion of the Retina display, the Touch ID sensor, and the updated butterfly keyboard.
Meanwhile, the 2018 iPad Pro lineup offers a variety of options to preorder, including WiFi-only and models equipped with LTE. The 11-inch model starts at $799, and goes up to $1,699 if you opt for the most storage (1TB) and the Cellular model. The 12.9-inch variant starts at $999, but you can pay up to $1,899 for the Cellular model and 1TB of storage.
The Mac mini retails for $799 for the model with 128GB of storage, and goes up to $1,099 for the model with 256GB of built-in storage.
Finally, the new Apple Pencil, which charges wirelessly while it’s connected to the side of the iPad Pro by magnets. This new stylus is a bit more expensive than the first-generation model, retailing for $129.
If you opt for the free delivery option, the new devices will arrive on Wednesday, November 7. At least, at the time of publication. It’s possible those ship dates start to slip for some of these devices soon enough.
