Apple may have had to delay the launch of the Group FaceTime feature, but now that it’s out there in the wild the company can go to town with marketing it.
Which starts today, as Apple has just published its newest advertisement, this time focused on the ability to have a single FaceTime call with up to 32 people at the same time. The new video is entitled “A Little Company” and it measures in at just over one minute in length. It features Elvis impersonators, so that’s exciting all by itself.
Here’s how Apple describes the new ad:
“Group FaceTime makes it easy to get together with up to 32 of your friends all at the same time. Available on iOS 12.1.”
Group FaceTime was introduced earlier this year, when Apple showcased iOS 12. And while Apple initially intended for the feature to arrive with that software in September, it was delayed until the public launch of iOS 12.1. But now that the feature is available to use, you can see how to make a group call right here. The feature works for both audio-only and video/audio calls as well, which means you can even join a call with the Apple Watch (without video).
And here’s the ad!
What do you think of Apple’s newest ads? Have you tried out the Group FaceTime call yet? And if so, how do you like it?
