Epic Celebrating ’14 Days of Fortnite’ With Daily Festivities, Events, Weapons, and More

The holiday season is in full swing, and Epic is helping to celebrate within the Fortnite universe.

The company is kicking off what it calls “14 Days of Fortnite” today, December 19, and players will see a lot of things going on every single day in the two-week celebration. That starts with today’s changes, which include grenade launchers now serving as snowball launchers, and the Legendary Bush makes its triumphant return as well, which is adorned with blinking holiday lights. There will be free rewards handed out every single day, too.

The Battle Bus is now showing off its holiday spirit, too, so be sure to thank your bus driver:

The map is obviously getting changes, too, including more snow-covered areas and Christmas trees sprinkled around as well. The first challenge is already live, and players are tasked with joining in on a creative mode server to earn themselves a special Spray. Epic will be introducing returning favorite limited time modes (LTM) as well, and the item shop is filled with holiday-themed costumes and more.

But wait, that’s not all. It looks like Epic also included a gigantic disco ball that’s hovering over the map, which many believe will slowly drop as the New Year approaches. That was discovered by Reddit user FortyandSeven.

The new celebrations are live now for consoles, PC, and on mobile, so have at it! Just don’t expect to find the Infinity Blade on the map anymore.
