Samsung has confirmed via its official social media platforms that it will indeed be launching the Galaxy S10 at an Unpacked event on February 20 in San Francisco. While not mentioned in the invite, Samsung is also expected to unveil its foldable phone at the event.
The Galaxy Unpacked event will start from 11 a.m. PT on February 20 and just like always, Samsung will be live streaming the event for fanboys and interested folks to follow. The February 20th event date means Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy S10 five days ahead of MWC 2019 in Barcelona.

While not mentioned in the event invite, Samsung is also expected to unveil its foldable phone at the event. Unlike the Galaxy S10, the foldable phone will see a limited release.
This will be the tenth anniversary of the Galaxy S series and so expectations are quite high from it. Rumors point to the company unveiling three variants of the Galaxy S10 this time around. All three variants will make use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chip in the US, with the European and Asian variants featuring Samsung’s own Exynos 9820 chip.
The ‘lite’ variant of the S10 will feature a 5.8-inch flat OLED display and lack an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will also only feature a single camera setup at the rear. The Galaxy S10 and S10+ will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, bigger Infinity-O punch-hole displays along with bigger batteries. The S10+ is also rumored to sport a triple camera setup at its rear.Like this post? Share it!
