At its ‘Show Time’ event, Apple unveiled Apple News+ — its magazine and digital subscription service. Apple News+ is a part of Apple News and will bring magazines and digital publications to millions of Apple News users. It will provide users with access to over 300+ magazines and many popular digital publications at a flat monthly fee of $9.99/month.
Now, before you get excited about Apple News+, prepare to get disappointed. Despite the launch of Apple News+, Apple is not expanding the availability of Apple News to more regions. Well, technically it is but that’s not going to be enough.
Apple News+ will be available in the following regions:
- United States
It will be making its way to the following regions later this year:
- United Kingdom
Apple is bringing Apple News app to the Mac as well so that subscribers can read their content on any Apple-branded device.
Apple News+ will cost $9.99/month in the United States and $12.99 in Canada, with a free 30-day trial. Apple News+ is also going to be available to all members who are a part of a Family Sharing group at no additional cost.
Apple News+ is available on iPhone or iPad running iOS 12.2 or later and the latest version of macOS Mojave.
